When I was new to the term Bitcoin, I thought it was just a hoax and that the people sharing their cryptocurrency earnings were scammers.
I have seen a lot of influencers in the past on YouTube and some social media platforms talking about how to earn Bitcoin. However, I was not enticed even if they really showed proof or earnings or return of investment. I have totally no idea how this type of cryptocurrency works, like how to earn and that it should be mined or even can be converted to dollars or peso. In short I never knew of its potentials and capabilities. I mean, yeah, that was how far I am in the so called cryptocosm, cryptoverse, cryptosphere or whatever it is for want of a better term. But even so I still do not want to engage in crypto trading, buying and selling sort of thing. I do not want to add more complicated things to my brain (laughs).
But somehow for the sake of curiosity and awareness I am trying to learn with my own research about cryptocurrency. You know just to be on the loop or not left behind whenever some colleagues would want to talk about it sometime.
It’s funny when I created a wallet with coins.ph seven years ago and got to use it only in 2019. I wasn’t exploring such an app because you know I was not that interested in earning with cryptocurrency. Three years after I created the ewallet, I decided to check and login again because I saw one influencer talking about how to earn Bitcoin with coins.ph. I was surprised because my Bitcoin wallet has funds. Someone sent me BTC equivalent to 1000 Php. I am not sure of how that amount came into my wallet. Perhaps someone mistakenly sent BTC to me. I was thankful though. That was the time that I opened my mind about cryptos. Indeed, Bitcoin is real as I said to myself.
Eventually I learned about other cryptocurrencies and honestly this platform has given opportunities to a lot of people. This community introduced me to Bitcoin Cash and from then on I have also tried to learn other digital tokens, even NFTs. Thanks to those who keep sharing their knowledge about digital currency and other related information. You never know how that information has helped me and other users in this community.
But these crypto coins cannot be earned as free. Yes, you read it right. It may appear that earning BCH here is free but it is not. Since we started earning BCH here it was not really free. We need money to make money. Are you getting me with this?
Every profit needs capital. If for example you earned $10 for a single post, you gain profit. But did you spend anything to earn such an amount? If your answer is No, you are wrong. What I mean is you used the internet to connect to this community so you spent data and bandwidth whether through mobile data or ISP. Okay, so you’re connecting Wifi with your aunt or friendly neighbor. Did you spend any? Yes of course you spend time and effort in writing and arranging your post.
I am not sure if you are getting my point here but I am not saying that you should agree with me. This is just how I see things with the notion about earning crypto currency as free. I think it is more convenient to say that we earn such things with less effort, rather than to say it for free entirely.
